The Word of God is Ay and Amen!
God speaks and it is done.
His Word in Exodus 12:13 is sure for those who believe God for His Word that will not go without accomplishing the purpose for which it was sent.
The verse reads,
The Blood will be a sign for you on the house where you are,and when I see the Blood, I will pass over you.
No destructive plague will touch you
I was at the University when this incident happened.
A crisis erupted on campus that spurred the male students to go violent.
They went berserk, l need to use the word.
They went to the female hostels to wretch havoc and beating the ladies up.
Destruction followed their every step.
Doors and windows were not spared.
I was in the room with my roommate with destructive elements not far from us. We could not think of where and how to escape. Then this Scriptures above came to my mind.
I told her we were going to depend on the Word of God for our safety.
I got a small red thread from my clothes and with the declaration of the Word l received on it, l hanged it on the handle of the door, already locked from our end.
They came banging on the door heavily so we ran under the bed for cover.
( We are still humans though! )
Then, we heard one of those banging at our door with all their might, telling them if they did not see what he saw.
What did he see?
He asked them if they could not see that the door was covered with blood.
Ehn, blood on the door?
The Blood of Jesus, the Blood of the Convenant stood for us.
It was real in our days and in our sight.
They left our place. We could not explain what they felt. But God glorified Himself with His Word.
The Almighty God proved Hid Word.

Jesus Christ Whose Blood avails for the Brethren
