Paul Enenche's sister slaps church member for crying during brother's burial

The burial of Rev Sammoses Enenche, younger brother of Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche reportedly took place yesterday, Wednesday, at Adupi Orokam, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State. but it was almost marred by the drama that broke out during the interment. Idoma Voice reports that the mild drama broke out after the deceased sister, Vera Aluma slapped a certain Josephine Akor for crying during the interment.

It was gathered that Josephine, who was a member of the prayer warrior team in the late Sammoses' church could not hold back tears as she watched her General Overseer lying motionless in the coffin.

Mrs. Aluma had earlier during her speech said she was not mourning the late brother and as such nobody should mourn.

However, Josephine got more than she bargained for when she broke down in tears on sighting the corpse.

From nowhere, Mama Vera, as Aluma is fondly called slapped her twice and ordered her to shut up, stressing that the venue was not a ground for mourners.

The situation created scene but was quickly brought under control by nearby people and her other siblings.

Rev Sammoses Enenche died in June 20, 2016 after he suddenly slumped and was rushed to the general hospital in Abuja where he was confirmed dead by the doctors.

  1. Maybe she meant to say it's a celebration of life and they were not mourning but it came out mistakenly s a spiritual slap.

    RIP rev.

  4. She should have respected her wish. Tears can be contagious most times. Especially in the time of grief. Going as far as slapping a member is cruel. People's emotions differ. Her tears were just the best way she could let out her feelings. R.I.P to the dead. May God give your family the strength to bear the loss.
