Few days ago, we reported that veteran Nollywood actor, Alex Usifo who is famous for playing the ‘bad man’ role, has successfully bagged a PhD from Babcock University.
Well, his daughter Sarah Alex Lexxie, who is a voice over artiste has cleared the airs about her father’s degrees before he obtained a PHD.
According to her recent post on Instagram: “I do not know why journalists/bloggers fail to do their research/get correct information and deliver unintelligible and incorrect facts to the public. I would have ignored this but the fact that this isn’t the first time its happening and that so many blogs are carrying the same wrong info has moved me to address this. I read that Alex Usifo (my dad) studied Philosophy and Mass Communication at UNILAG and went on to study History and International Relations at Babcock University. This is false. Alex Usifo studied Philosophy at SS Peter & Paul Seminary then proceeded to get a diploma in Mass Communication. He later went to Ambrose Ali University to study English (1st Degree) where he graduated with 2:1 and went for his Masters in Social Work at LAUTECH and finally his PhD in Information Resource Management at Babcock, so please let us set the records straight and broadcast the right info, thank you!
