18 years after Abacha's death! Nigerians share their thoughts on twitter...

The death of the maximum dictator, General Sani Abacha, on June 8, 1998, in suspicious circumstances, and his reign of terror and rage, with mind boggling looting to the bargain, is remembered today by Nigerians.
Many of those who witnessed the pestilence are still struggling to forget the sacrilegious era where good men showed their true colors for a mess of porridge on Abacha’s stupendously laden table, from our commonwealth.
Here are some of the thoughts of our compatriots on the leader dubbed ‘the evil one’…

  1. I remember how my dad danced and kissed my mum the day it was announced that this cannibal is dead.

    The radio was a Trident1409
That was the first time my dad kissed my mum before my young eyes.

  2. Some people play too
    Zero chill

  3. The best day to be a Nigerian when he died.

  4. A president and also a thief, that's how we role in Nigeria. One thing am happy about is, diarisss God.
