Today, a 27-year-old man, Sunday Vincent, was sentenced to three weeks imprisonment by an Abuja court for public nuisance.

He was convicted for wandering around the
streets and gave no satisfactory explanation on what he was doing.
The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, however, gave Vincent an option to pay
N3,000 fine and warned him to desist from committing any crimes.
The offence is punishable under Section 198 of the Penal Code.
